If the certificate is removed from the sleeve and placed directly into a certificate holder or card case (such as a pass holder), the printed surface may fade or the ink may transfer.

We apologize for any inconvenience regarding the recommended storage method. However, to help preserve your certificate in good condition, we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Many commercially available certificate holders and card cases (such as pass holders) are made from PVC (polyvinyl chloride).

PVC contains substances known as plasticizers. If these plasticizers remain in prolonged contact with the printed surface of a card, they may cause the printed ink to transfer or fade over time. This is not unique to our certificates and may occur with other printed cards as well.

If you choose to remove the certificate from its original sleeve for storage, we recommend using a certificate holder or card case made from materials other than PVC, such as polyolefin (PO), polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), or polyethylene terephthalate (PET).

Alternatively, we recommend placing the certificate in a thin protective card sleeve (excluding those made from PVC) before storing it in a certificate holder or card case.
